Thanks guys
I have a 97 3x locked fzj 80 pretty much stock except for a 2.5" lift and 295's
I also have a 64 fj 40 all stock

I have owned 4 other land cruisers over the years
Another 97 lx450
96 fzj80
2000 100 series and a 73 fj40
I can't tell you how much I love these rigs and how excited Iam to spend more time behind the wheels

My real passion has always been dirt bikes but with the family I really want to spend more time with them

My son is 7 and he is very excited although he wants to take the 40 and not the 80

Registration database says it's a 1997 FZJ80.

Welcome Jason, I'll get your trail assignments out to you soon.

Jason, what's up with "No Trail Run" for Saturday? Bugging out early?

Heh, your reply was sent while I was composing mine to Martin. I agree with your son, nothing like driving the 300+ miles each way to and from Moab in a stock 40, I did it for years and years. Now that I have the 60 I'm spoiled on the highway but the 40 is so much easier to beat up on the rocks.

We gotta a lotta dirt bikers in Rising Sun. For whatever reason, most of them seem to be into KTMs. I have a Yamaha YZ250.

Yes it's a 97 FZJ 80 I had a LX a while back

I'm kind of a KTM guy - 2010 Husaberg FE 450

I do have to leave Friday night - my son and daughter have a school function Saturday morning but a couple days is better than no days

My son was 9 the first time I went to CM. He too loves the 40. It was a fun, old-school drive out to Moab in the 40 that year. Whichever truck you bring, you will have a great time. If I were driving back Friday night after wheeling, I would definitely be taking an 80. See you there!
