It all depends on how deep the channel gets and how high the cut back on the far side is. It changes with each storm and if you're the first to get there after a flood, it could be tough even if the water is really low. The unknown is half the fun.

Darn...the upper Dolores is running 688 cfs. First time in years it has had anything in it below the reservoir, and it is such a fun raft/kayak run! Wish I could get down there!

taken saturday...stopped to check out the river depth...both crossings were too deep for my comfort level on an unknown (to me) crossing
