Default 100 series replacement gas tank?

Hey there was a vendor at Cruise Moab who stocks replacement gas tanks for the 100 series. I think they're 40 gallons? My understanding was you drop your current tank then bolt this one in its place, using all the same guts.

I never made it over there, was too busy BSing on the other side of the aisle all night... then I had to reel in a couple kids. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or better yet, post up a link? I think the number I heard was $1200...

Front Runner makes one. And, a guy named viderestudios was building one to sell last year. The price point was $1200, so I'm guessing it was him?

I'm betting your referring to the Long Range unit offered by Outback Proven (or any of their dealers ). They are an Aussie made unit and stocked/distributed by Ben @ Outback Proven here in the US.

I would be interested in that as well. Then no need to figure out how to do an aux tank

May want to make sure on how low they hang, if they are anything like the replacement for the 80 series ones, they hang lower than the stock tank.

I've not installed that particular tanks but have installed many of their other applications, good stuff. I'm running a 16 gallon aux. tank in the back of my 100, flows thru to the main tank... I really have been enjoying the added capacity.
