Would the turn signal switch fit on a 74 40, or are they pig specific? Any idea?
Thanks
Abe

No idea. It's free though so it's not like you would be out a ton of money if it didn't work...

Should fit no problem.

The major difference between a 40 and 55 column is length, and the end that connects to the steering box. The 40 has a rag joint, and the 55 has a splined shaft that connects to a U-joint.

FYI - That bell housing is critical for putting a later 2F in an older truck. FJ60 bell housings aren't as useful. Wish I wasn't sitting on several FJ60 bell housings at this time, but someone may want to snag it. It even has the engine mounts attached.

Cool I'll take the turn signal from you if you don't mind! I'd also be happy to pick up parts for others too if anyone wants anything. I'm planning to hopefully go to the meeting this week, as well as the rally & 40's only run too if it is all possible, so plenty of chances to get parts to people if you want them.
thanks,
Abe
