Default August 16 and 17 Schofield Pass and Taylor Pass

This weekend I'm going from Carbondale over Schofield Pass, camping in Crested Butte overnight, and headed over Taylor Pass or Pearl Pass to Aspen on Sunday. Any and all are welcome to join. Ace and some other folks from Book Cliff are also going my cousin might join us in his Tacoma.

Hey Burt88, there is a trailhead just west of Schofield Pass. Nice little lot on the north side of the road at the east end of a meadow. Little stream crossing right there. Anyway, fantastic hike up to Frigid Air Pass. Best wildflowers I've seen anywhere and the view at the pass sneaks up on you and is stunning. Also very good camping right there or up on Paradise Divide. You won't be disappointed.
