Default FSM for the FZJ80

Might be a stupid question so be gentle

I bought a FSM for the my '97 LX450 not figuring I'd ever be buying a FZJ80 as well. I know there are differences between the two but from what I can discern the differences are mostly 'cosmetic'...

That said, are there any reasons why I should to plop another $100 or so on a '97 FZJ80 specific FSM or can I just use the LX450 FSM for both?

For $100 I can get two a cup holder for both rigs, almost two CDLs, or any number of other tidbits....

You can spend $10 for the single-day TIS subscription and download it: Fully Automatic Factory Service Manual (FSM) Downloading. It took me about 2 hours to D/L everything for my '01 4Runner and '99 LC.

x2. Among other (usually minor) areas, there are wiring differences between the LX and LC. You can download the EWD (and all the others) for the LC using NatorGator's script.

I'm not the smartest computer guy either and I was able to do it.

Jeff, just notice that the instructions are specific for the Firefox browser. Apparently some guys were having issues with IE when trying his downloaders. Other than that the instructions are pretty detailed and worked well.
