There has been much talk of this...Supposedly, the gulches will open this summer, but not as FS trails, rather as county roads, which can mean no water crossings, but no one knows for sure. Apparantly, the counties are being left to decide, not the FS. Anyway, that is all i have heard.

We did something like this at Nicolet (Wisconsin) back in 1996. Not as deep, but it was still scary. The problem was all the mud at the bottom.
