Default Local places to get a weld on tab/mount for a screw shackel?

Howdy-

Anyone know of someplace local that carries the weld on D-ring tabs with the fat hole in them?

These are the ones you see on a lot of front bumpers that you attach the screw shackle to.

I am looking for either surface mount or the long ones that go all the way through the tube.

There are a lot of them cheap on-line but shipping kills the deal. Thanks! Looking to start a bumper build before too long.

Call in a favor to someone that owns a fab shop. A few chunks of steel and a lazer cutter should make quick work of it. If not, grab some steel, drill a hole in it and go to town with a grinder.

I have some 4130 chromo bolt on's in the shop, and also some weld on d-rings...

the weld on's are like you see on semi tractors and are 5/8ths thick forged steel. You can get new ones at k&K surplus as well in commerce city.

rubicon express sells a damn good recovery point like the one pictured above, but made out of tool steel and pre-beveled for welding.
