Default Where to Motel at CM?

A friend of mine has been prying at me for info on where to stay at CM. He wants to stay in a hotel. I've never stayed in a hotel in Moab. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Eric V.

I've always at the Virginian from early 90's on. Decent, pretty cheap and come with kitchen and allow pets. Good about working on your truck in the parking lot as well.

I might be partial though, since we rented 30 rooms for 2 nights when we got married. So I might be getting special treatment. But I have never had a problem there.

my favorite is the Archway Inn, very close to slick rock, incredible complementary breakfast (bacon, eggs, buttermilk buscuits, gravy, donuts, coffee, hashbrowns, etc), super clean rooms, cheap, and there's a pool. we were too scared to camp with a 3 mo old last year so that's where we stayed.

This is the only roof I've ever slept under in Moab. It was very nice.

No pets, and I wouldn't get the tool box out in the parking lot.
