Default FT-8800 Operating and Programming

There are a few FT-8800 rigs floating around. You guys want to get together one evening to program your radios? Any day from April 12 on (week nights are OK, but Fri, Sat, Sun are best) will work. I hesitate to say this should be an official event because there's not much time between now and Moab to organize a big field day, but keeping it to Yeasu 8800 should be workable. I know Romer has the 7800 software, so it's possible that if I can borrow that we could also accommodate a few new hams with those, too. But unless you want to come mostly to heckle, I think I need to keep it to 78/8800 owners only if it's gonna get done before CM.

Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security. " --Albert Einstein

I'm in. That weekend might be good. I'm still pushing to get my 40 done, but since I'm probably going to flat tow it with my 80 it would be nice to really know how to use my 8800.
