Default Warn Winch Controller?

How do you mount a Warn winch controller on an FJ40? Pipe clamps?

i've got some 3/4" x1/8" steel strips, we could make a bracket for it.
when i had a 6k winch on my 40, thats how i had it mounted.

i'm home working on a rear 40 bumper if you want to stop by.

I drilled a couple holes in the bib and bolted it right up behind the winch.. But I had the kind of 40 that I didn't mind drilling holes in the body.

I figured it out. Thanks everyone. I used some 4 1/2" hose clamps.

Cool but my question would be what type of Warn winch

Judging by your winch mount that looked like my old one from my 40 you were going with something other than a M8274 that you could mount feet down. In that case you can either mount the control box to the motor using said hose clamps (or zip ties which I did at first as a temp solution) OR you can mount the box remotely. When the XD9000 was on my 40 the PPO had the box connected to a metal bar (maybe an inch wide) that stuck up about 8-10" and was bolted to the rear of the winch mount.
