Default it's alive....IT'S ALIVE!!!!

The FJ40 was up and purring today! I got him running with some amazing help from Ige and Jeff. You guys rock!

The 40 just needed some juice in the four year old battery. I can't believe how amazing he sounds for a 45-year-old rig! I've got a charger trickling in at 2 amps. As far as the brakes are concerned, the "thingy" is the oil filter and it will have to be moved to make way for the dual cylinder.

Tasks for this week:
Buy tools
Change the oil and the fuel.
Yee haw!
It was inevitable. My last name is "Wheeler."

She sounded good, just needs some fresh petrol and electricity, and of course fresh lubricating oil in the engine. I continue to be astounded at the great condition that rig is in, and continue to learn stuff. Not the least of which is, I knew 1960-1961 or so FJ40s had the same centered rear diff as FJ25s, but never knew this continued to 1963. Rear shackles, oil pan skid plate and front drive shaft were all new learning experiences. You have a rare rig there Sheba!
