Default Rising Sun 2008 Picnic

It was a great day. The 100 deg heat in Denver made it even better to escape to the mtns. This was an excellent spot overlooking the lake in a neat covered area.
The BBQ was great and so was the company. Rachel did a great job in putting this together.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I guess it was a 104 deg yesterday in Denver!!

Wish I could have hung out with you guys in the cool temps.

A fun fact: Jeff Dedise(Dedise Park) is the care taker for our property in Evergreen(at the end of Upper Bear Creek Road)

Will have to find pics from the last picnic up there

My wife and daughter and I had a good time. The food was great and the people were awesome. JoLene wanted to make sure I let everybody know that we had fun. Thanks for doing this Rachel!

Martin, thanks for the tips on carb rebuilds. Don't forget to get me that link for a kit. I'll bring my 40 to the meeting on Wednesday so you can check it out.

Good to meet you and your fam too Dan. The site with the rebuild kits:

Let me check before you buy a kit, I think I bought an extra 2 barrel kit last time I ordered. If I have one, I'll bring it to the meeting.
