Default New 80 take 2...and tire question...

Well long story short....we decided to sell our super nice 80 to pay off some debt and get a cheaper 80 like we had originally planned. had someone looking for us and they picked us up a 97 with lockers, little higher mileage but great shape inside and out. Biggest plus is thats is our favorite color and was abaout 5K cheaper. HOPEFULLY i'm done with swapping 80's for a few weeks...

Question about the tires....or another dilemma...

We just bought, new 285's BFG a/t (~500 miles) but this cruiser has brand new Big O 265's

I'm going to be putting 315's on my 80 so neither of these is going to work. What would you do? I'd be using this money to knock down the price on my 315's that I'm buying.

A. Put the BFG's on sell the new BIG O's???

B. Sell the BFG's, use the big O's for a year or two?

imho, you won't get good return on used tires, but the at's are definitely more "saleable".

Do choice b.

Looks like my old '97 Collector's Edition (now Oleg's)! Love that color combo.

Why not sell both sets of tires and buy your 315s now?

I like the color, just like my 97, but I'm unlocked. Put on the BFG's, sell the Big O's. Sell the BFG's when you get the 315's. Nice score

This is the rig. I have the 93 which is going to have the lift and 315's. Just not sure what tires to keep on hers.

I *may* be selling my J springs and alum. spacers for the front to swap to Christo's 4" springs. in anyone is interested.

lol, nope! It sold with working lockers... although the thought did cross my mind! The guy that bought it is going to come to our club meeting, he has a built 4 runner on 40's that he'll prolly sell so looks like greeley might have 2 built up 80's.
