Default Run Sunday 9/3- Coney Flats

This being a Holiday weekend I only will be working 6 days this week

So thinking of going wheeling close by to help Rachel tryout her new truck

Red Cone, Bill Moore, Kingston peak open to anything in the non hard core category

Coney Flats/Middle Saint Vrain would be a great choice!

We have never done this one so we will give it a try. At least Rachel and I are doing this Sunday morning. Anyone welcome to join, but know I haven't driven it so adventure could be part of the day

If others want to join, we can come up with a meeting spot. Otherwise Rachel and I will head to the trail

I thought that was temporarily closed for repairs. Not the case?

Please think of a meeting spot. Can't say yes or no at the moment but thinking about it. Will commit ASAP, tomorrow morning I hope.

Easiest direction is to begin at Beaver reservoir and end up at Camp Dick. Both directions are easily done in stock vehicles. When done from Beaver remember to turn right at the intersection with MSV. Turning the wrong direction will be beautiful both ways as it dead ends at Buchanan Pass trailhead. Starting at Camp Dick you will obviously turn left onto Coney Flats/ Beaver Res road. Water holes are all stable but have hidden rocks so if you decide to do a J**p commercial at high speed get ready to fly! 😉 Staging is easily done at either trail head.

Carolyn and I would join in in our 40. Maybe my Sister and her husband in their 40 I've worked on for them, and my Son in his Xterra....
