Default co2 tank fillup pricing

what's everyone paying?

i'm ready for a fill and it seems like my standard place has gone up a lot since i first started using them...want to know if it's a fair price

centennial tap and beer on my last fillup in 8/16 was $20 for 10lb

General Air near I-25 and Colfax was $19.27 last time. You have to exchange your cylinder however, they don't fill it. About the same price as Centennial.

The cool part is that if you have an expired cylinder, General Air will still swap it out, on the spot, with no extra charge. Centennial took 6 weeks and charged a ton when I had them recertify a cylinder. ...a good thing to keep in mind, as long as you don't use fancy cylinders.

Yeah, that's a great deal. I think I paid around $20 for 10# at High Plains Welding last time.

Way to grow isn't a deal now. Almost $16 to fill 10lbs. They cant fill tanks with the handle on so I had to go home and get the tool to take the handle off and go back. this morning he quoted me $10 for 10 pounds, he Rings me up says it's almost sixteen and says oh somebody must have thought it was A5 pound tank that's $10 well I told him (that particular guy) this morning that it was a 10-pound when he asked me. Then you have to drive around to a completely different building to fill up and wait while the two pothead sitting in the building are screwing off on YouTube.

Sorry to here that Ige, it was back in June when I filled. I have been hearing about filling getting pricey. The first fill I got from them was 2years ago and only paid $5.00 and some change. Guess not any more.

no biggie, it was worth looking into. if it had been $10, i might go back but for the minimal difference vs crappy service/pita, i'll try another outlet

Is Red Comet still filling 10lb tanks for less than $10? I used them 'till they moved north, and now just go to High Country. They fill while you wait, for about $15 IIRC.
