Default Argentine Cleanup/Work Day 2017

Ok everyone.
The summer is flying by. And we've all been super busy. I know I have. But we do need to get out there and take care of our adopted trails.
The first available time that I have to do the Argentine Trail Run is the first weekend in August. So that would be Saturday the 5th.
So I'd like to set this up for that day.
We'll do the usual thing and meet in Georgetown at 9 AM at the community center. Then we'll proceed up to the trail. We've got some work to do this year. Including blocking illegal routes and putting up carsonites.

Post up if you can come.
This will be an all day/most of the day thing. Make sure to bring a lunch, the kids, the dogs, and rain jackets. Make sure to bring work gloves as well. I'm planning on bringing my trailer. We can use this to move material around like logs and small boulders. We need to use these to block illegal routs in order to stop erosion and trail damage. For the most part I think just shovels and pick axes will work for this. Saws and axes will also come in handy as we will probably be moving large dead trees around for this same purpose. I was originally planning on putting up fences. But after meeting with the forest service reps, I was told that most of these areas will have issues with private land. And the land owners may not want permanent fences put up on their land. So until we can contact these land owners and get the OK; trees, rocks, and carsonites are the answer for this year.

Also, let me know if this interferes with another club event. Admittedly, I haven't been paying attention lately.

I should be available to lend a hand. What type of tools will be needed? I don't have much but I do have some odd ball stuff.

It's on my calendar. Throw a list up if supplies/tools beyond the usual are needed.

Nix that comment. I didn't realize you could change what was previously written.

Not a conflict, but you might see a bunch of 200's. The 200 version of 100's in the hills is based out of Breckenridge Thur through Sunday with this listed as a trail each day. There are 45 200's attending, but they are trying to keep the trail runs to 8 per run.

I am only able to attend the Thursday Runs as Sarah is getting Married that weekend, Geez, in 13 days my little girl gets married

Thanks for leading this Travis

Should i plan on bringing my chainsaw? And if so is anyone familiar with tuning a small engine? I have a Stihl 660 with a 24 inch bar (my hotrod!). The last time I had this running was in Ohio at 850' amsl back in 2011. I may throw it up on the bench this week and make sure nothing is gummed up (I did drain the fuel before storing) but when it comes to adjusting for air mass I am lacking.
