Default Red Cone Sunday? 7/30

I'm thinking of running Red Cone on Sunday in the 40 with some friends who have never gone offroading. I've never done Red Cone and figured it would be fun to see if anyone wants to come along. Thinking of starting around 8/9 at the trailhead, heading on Webster pass and ending up in Silverthrone/Frisco. Let me know!

That'll give them an appreciation!

Ben, Sunday is really my only option, as they are from out of town.

Funny you say that because last weekend my mother in law was visiting from Nashville, and I told her I was taking her wheeling. She asked for info, and I told her Red Cone. She read some descriptions about the trail and basically said hell no!! Probably for the best because we ran into some wicked lightning at the summit and rain before and after which meant we never really got out of the trucks all day.

Hey guys, I'm still planning on something. Red Cone might be a little difficult in the 40. Ben/Hoffie give me an email and we can work out details if you're still interested.

akingf5371,
I will have to pass this time, as I just spent 12hrs installing new Upper & Lower ball joints on a co-workers 4Runner. I also did a broken power antenna delete for a solid mast antenna replacement.
Next weekend, I will be heading down to San Antonio, TX for a 3 day weekend.

After that I am willing to go play on some beginner/intermediate trails.
