Default 1967 FJ40 - What Have I Done?!!!!

I'm posting this in the Tech section, because I am going to need a lot of psychological and TECH help

If this 50 year old vehicle looks familiar, it is because it is Dan K's 40. I couldn't let this thing sneak out of the club, so I bought it from Dan.

I don't plan to do much to it, other than fix a few of the issues Dan pointed out in his FS thread, and I don't even have a place to store it yet, so Dan is going to keep it for a bit and continue to drive it like it is his. Thanks, Dan!

Anyway, it has been more than 10 years since I sold my bastardized 1976 FJ40, and this one is different in almost every way. So, I'm going to need a lot of tech help when I start to fix stuff. Who is our Northside "expert" on the old iron with ball and claw shafts and F engines? I've never even messed with a carb in my life!!!

Don't freak out man. It's going to be awesome.

Here is the F Engine FSM for starters.

Then you need to start a thread for the 2018 Three on the Tree Run next spring. We will help you get ready for that one!

Thanks for helping a brother out Paul.

Great news, Paul, glad to see it's staying around. And lots of carbs roam the north side, don't despair..

Thanks, guys!!! Exciting for sure. Hopefully I can keep from messing this one up like I did my last one. I wasn't in the club then, so I'm sure that's the reason that build went so wrong

This one WILL remain as stock Toyota as possible. I honestly don't have enough time to do too much to it. I hope to drive it at least once a week once it makes it into my garage.

Thanks for the F engine FSM, Dan! That's a start.
