Default 1970 FJ40 available for trade

I would love to assign a dollar amount for this thing but they're only worth what someone will pay for it and I'm looking for a trade.

I've only had this thing for a few months but after driving my buddies manual transmission FJ, I thought I would throw it out there.

Looking for an FJ40 with...
A strong engine (conversions are OK).
A manual transmission.
A hard top.
Little to no rust (some is acceptable, I get it)

Here is what I have...
1970 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser (Cookie Monster). The truck has a seriously cool story after I did my research. I will be happy to go into it with any interested party.

6,000 lb Super Winch with wire cable and remote,

Hurst Street/Strip Shifter,
Interior tub has black Herculiner (10 years old and strong),
Con Ferr spare tire mount for 5 Gallon "jerry" Gas can,
transfer case was re-built by Marlin Crawler and has under 10,000 miles,

Runs very well, mechanically sound, some minor body dents, Original paint was Tan, then Red and now Blue (2nd and 3rd colors are part of the story of the rig).

I've done some serious trail driving and I'm sure some of you have seen me on the mean streets of Broomfield and even on the dreaded I-25 holding speeds at 75...Seriously, this thing hums. She's cold blooded on start when it's below freezing but a few good accelerator pumps while cranking and he comes to life at fast idle. Kick him down after a 5 minute warm up, flip the heat on defrost and you're off.

This rig ha been camping with my daughter and I 5 times since ownership in some remote locations pulling out overland trailer. Altitude on loose rock with a steep grade is no problem even with the trailer.

After writing all of this, maybe it's best to just retro fit (is it even considered a retro fit) a manual transmission. You tell me...
I'll throw some pics up soon.

To abide by rules, asking price is a million dollars (OBO) or trade for the short list in a rig above.

Sounds like your cruiser has a lot of mods and that you enjoy it. I would either live with the auto, or drop a manual Trans into it. It's going to be tough finding someone with the exact manual transmission you want that also wants to trade.

Right, I may have convinced myself of that same thing.

Maybe a hard top Pinzgauer?

If you choose to wheel your 40 on tougher trails you might want to keep the auto!
