Dan and I tried to prerun Dome Plateau. Niether of us knew where it was. A guy at camp told us to go to the Dewy Bridge and take a left. That put us on the Kokepeli trail. We followed that a while and found a sign that had DP to the left We followed that and there were multiple turns with no signs. .We followed what looked promising, it wasn't. It was a really fun trail. We made it to a mining road after a while. We eventually found a sign to Dome Plateau and went there. We have no diea how you are supposed to get there or how you are supposed to leave. Hopefully someone will fill Dan in before he leads on Saturday. We called what we did the "I da know trail" It was a lot of fun

In the guide book Dome Plateau looks confusing with all the other roads in the vicinity. I'm gonna explore it with my maps tomorrow morning. And if nothing else, I'll backtrack out.

this is one of my favorite ways to run it. sort of a figure 8. Laboca Arch as a fun get out and move arround, then to the overlook as the lunch spot. the double back to the cool cave features, then the mining ruins.

In my experience overlook 1 on the above map does not have enough room for more than 6 vehicles max.

cheers

There was breakdown on Poison Spider last night. They broke the knuckle studs at the overlook. They took the knuckle off and brought it to camp where we helped them replace them, they took it back to repair

Good reminder to all solid axle owners to check the torque on their studs
