Exclamation Solved: Anyone have access to some box trucks?

Arapahoe High School Marching Band (which my daughter is a part of) is performing tomorrow at the Air Force Academy in the state finals for band. (They are ranked 7th in state - woo hoo!) They went down on Thursday night with two 26' box trucks full of percussion equipment, props, etc. Unfortunately, someone guided the trucks through an enormous dip in the parking lot which knocked apart the exhaust on both trucks. Neither truck is drivable at the moment. My suggestion to simply go fix the exhaust systems on the trucks is no longer an option because the band manager has already talked to Budget, which plans to come tow away the trucks tomorrow -- without replacing them. Budget is leaving the band stranded with a bunch of heavy band equipment. Budget has told us they won't give us replacement trucks, even though Arapahoe has had a corporate account with them for 12 years.

Other truck rental companies are booked up -- it's the last weekend of the month, when trucks are in high demand.

So we need a box truck, preferably two, to help get all this large heavy equipment back to Littleton from Colorado Springs tomorrow evening. It's likely the band will make it to Finals, which means they will perform around 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. We could load up the trucks after that.

Getting the trucks through security at the Air Force Academy will take at least 45 minutes, since they X-Ray the trucks for security purposes.

Anyone have a box truck? Or a really big trailer? Or another really good idea?

Call or text me: 3O3-9l8-7O99 mobile.

Thanks,
Matt

Worst case scenario: I will strap all the broken exhaust bits (diesel cats) up off the ground and we will drive the trucks the 50 miles back to Littleton. This seems like the obvious solution to me, but the band is not sure they want to do this. Just checking to see if there is another option anyone can think of.

Does the school district have any additional busses and drivers available?

We got some trucks from Penske. Thanks for the notes!
