Default WTB: 2F engine for 87 fj60

Looking for a replacement for my wornout engine. Free ATC gear for any lead that results in an engine! Thanks!

I don't know enough about 2F's to know if there are differences in years between 60s....

Would an '84 work? What are you hoping to spend? And timeline?

Thanks Dan. But, since I run an H55 trans, I believe there is a bolt pattern difference with anything older than an 85-86. Much appreciated.

As far as price, timeline and condition. My preference would be a recently rebuilt or low mileage engine that someone is removing for their own engine upgrade. Timeline, soon. Price is negotiable. Thx.

No bolt pattern difference for the H55, bell housing the same. The difference was in the way it mounts on the transmission to frame. later Fj60 4 speed had a spacer that allowed the H55 to bolt right in with out having to cut the drive shafts and make one shorter and one longer.

If you get something older Paul, at least do a valve job, mill the head some before it goes in the engine bay, it will be money a head if what ever engine you get is older. Replace all the seals you can. a lot quicker to do a valve job when the engine is on a stand.

Good luck finding something
