Question 80-series steering box rebuild

Anyone here done a rebuild on their steering box? Mine has a slow leak that I'd like to fix soon.

I've been told that the rebuild kit is no longer available from Toyota. Cruiser Outfitters provided this diagram that has part numbers for all the individual parts.

OK, I spent an hour on Mud reading all the threads about PS boxes. I'm tempted to simply buy a rebuilt box and install it rather than trying to rebuild my own.
  • Anyone have experience with CruiserParts.com? They have a rebuilt box for $399.
  • CruiserYard.com has a rebuilt box for $435.
  • SOR has a rebuilt gearbox for the low, low price of $1894.22.

Looks like the Toyota part number for the whole box is 4411060212.

A few resources that I've found so far:

Great rebuild thread on Mud

Good discussion of maintenance, repair, replacement

Raven will also or can get the power steering rebuild kits for you. while it may not be a toyota kit, they typically will have every seal you would want. They have rebuilt a few boxes for me, and have done great work. The problem with West Texas, shipping time will increase your down time. But WTO cost to rebuild is about 1/2 the cost of Raven. But Raven can have it done in a couple days, versus a week or so.
The 80 series box in not as easy to rebuild as the earlier boxes. I was thinking of sending many boxes at once to WTO, but never got it together to do so.
Raven can get it done for you. I personally would not trust Cruiser parts. net, too many bad deals (Customer buy, I do not any more buy from CP.net).
Raven cost does include bearing replacements, where West Texax Offload is only seal replacement. Who ever does the rebuild, you may want to check to see if it is just a reseal or a bearing replacement as well.

I need to do this too. Thanks everyone for the info. Looks like all the consumables are circular in nature, so I'm hoping the rebuild process/parts are the same for a RHD 80.
