Original Post:
I finally have a free weekend to wheel and curious if anyone else can or wants to join.

As of now, a friend and I were going to run this trail. It goes around Sante Fe Mountain, and I was going to start from Floyd Hill and go into Idaho Springs, but have now idea what to expect. Love some feed back on it if anyone has something.

If anyone is already heading out or has an other area they want to explore, I'm open to options.

Not positive but I think there is a gate blocking the road where it goes from NF to private property. The MVUM shows where the gate is. I've only come in from the Idaho Springs end.

That's good to know, thanks Jackson. Did you make it up the obstacle that gave you so much trouble on the BOWAGW run?

That's the kind of information I'm looking for! Thank you!

How stocker friendly is Slaughterhouse? All I've got is sliders, no lift. Actually the same set up Wizard had on the BOWAGW run...

I looked it up on trailsoffroad and I'm hesitant, but not scared off, though.

There are tricky spots, but you can dodge most of them. It depends on how long you’ve been driving and your familiarity with your traction control. I would take a bone stock truck up it no problem, but you will need to get out and look at a couple spots.

We had several stock vehicles that did fine a few months ago.

Perfect trail for getting to know your Multi-Terrain Select system and Your crawl control. Read the owners manual first.

I'll keep you posted on what we end up running.

Good luck on the truck. How far away from driveable is it: diagnosing a transmission/transfer case problem or replacing brakes?
