Default fzj80 Vehicle Speed Sensor

So it appears that my VSS took a crap on me.
The whole speedo unit in the gauge cluster is no longer working. No biggy. But It's to my understanding that there are two VSS on these wagons, 1 on the trans and the other on the T-case. Is there any way to figure out specifically which one went bad? Also, are both VSS the same?

Thanks

So I had a few minutes to get under her today. Could only find the one on the tail if the T-case. It was caked with grease, dirt, etc. so I cleaned up the connection and sensor, added some dielectric grease to the connector. But no dice.

Gonna hit up the Denver PullnPay tomorrow and take one out of a Previa. It’s evidently the same VSS. Hopefully it works.

My guess as to why it went bad is that I’ve got a bad Ujoint and some rear shaft vibration plus the 239k miles on it.
