Just remember that only Cali 76s had the carb cooling fan. Federal models did not.

Also, Australian 76s would have had drum brakes still as well I'm pretty sure.

Kurt drove his 40 over and dropped some leftover parts by after his 2f rebuild thread.
I didn't get to see it. But it gave me enough inspiration to get the 40 out and take it for its first wash since i think maybe since that first wash 3 years ago....and then we took it out for some more yard flowers Hannah wanted.

Hannah my wife has deemed my truck Hannah cause it was born in may 1976 like her.

I call them both honey badger....but only when they arent listening.

Anyway..this thing needs a trip to the mountains..groceries and flowers...man oh man

Excellent! You'll love the fog lamps. I wish I had been able to get a harness to run them properly. I just made connections to the running light wires and controlled them that way.

Are those OEM or the repros?

Looks like you have a couple weekends worth of other projects there too!

Pro tip..lol...for the next schmuck who has never done this before...

Leave it mounted to the frame to bust that big 22mm top cap loose..
