Looks great Chris. Hard to believe that's a 10 year old truck.

Especially with the prices they still command.

Thanks Matt..I agree..To me it looks newer than the 07 4runner and cost me 9k less with the same mileage as the 4runner had.

Only issue.. it feels and looks like a 30k plus vehicle...which takes me back to the same dilemma...Don't dent, scratch or drown it...

One thing I am noticing after crawling around underneath, other than the body, bolts, etc. look brand new...is the beefiness of the components they use on these vs.The 4runner or FJ.

The diff looks larger, the lower links seem way bigger, lugs seem bigger, Tranny box looks bigger, UCAs are about the only thing at first glance that, look a bit under gunned.

I missed the e-brake lever and the high/low manual shifter in the 4Runner that I had on the FJC, nice to have them back in the LC..feels more truck-ish.

Now I need to find a newer non-nav Toyota OEM stereo that has Bluetooth, do lift and ham/CB install.

The Australian 4WD Monthly guys used to talk about cracked 100 series lower control arms. Iron Man and others sell brackets in Oz to reinforce the section. They do more loaded touring over washboads and less rock crawling, which works the IFS (but rides nice).

Welcome. Looks good, how about a pic not in a parking lot. You're giving us a bad name.
