Default Newbies to Cruise Moab

Hey Folks,

Figured there may be some newbies among us, first time attendees...

Signed up and ready for both CruiseMoab and Expo West this year. Been a few times with the nissan group, first time with the Cruiser.

Made the 32 hour trek back in 2012 and again in 2014. EXcited to make it back this year in the new rig.

Im the troopy in the pic. Still need to square away some odds and ends before the end of april, but shes looking good for the trip.

Hoping it will be a great time. See you guys/gals soon.

Nice looking 75! It pretty well matches Onur's 70 too!

Just curious about the truck: is it an HZJ or an HJ?

I'll be attending for the first time. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland along with a contingent from the Capital Land Cruiser Club. I'll be driving a mildly modified 1990 FJ62, and I'll have my wife and two girls along for the fun.

My girls will be 7 and not quite 5 at the time. Do many children normally attend?

There are usually quite a few kids. I take mine every year (girl 9 and boy 4 this year) and they have made new friends every time they've gone. They are always excited to go back and see if the friends they made last year come back.

Hopefully you signed up for the Arches Family Fun Run. There are usually kids on that one.

Cool! I grew up in Silver Spring and my mom recently moved to Annapolis. If you've never been to Moab prepare for a jaw-dropping big eyes experience. It's like nothing back east, and well worth the multi-day drive each way!

One of our members, Wes Worek is a CLCC alum, and we've had CLCC guys (Jon Sourbeer, my former TLCA AVP comes to mind) out here in years past. We look forward to showing you a great time!

Hi! Just signed up for membership for TLCA to be able to go to Moab this year. I got a notification that it will be a day or two before i get my number to register for the Cruise. Until then I'll be looking for advice as far as camping. I've been to Moab a handful of times but it seems that the Slickrock Campground is going to be where all the action is, as well as a shower! Any advice will be well received!

Welcome X001AM! What's your name? Indeed SCG is the epicenter of the event and where you'll have the opportunity to mingle and meet with hundreds of other Toyota 4x4 enthusiasts.
