Default 2014 Year in Review

Not really a trip report, but a Year in Review.

I spent over 50 nights away on some type of adventure this year and 90% of them were based around me being a Toyota owner. I bought this Land Cruiser in 2010 to explore some harder to reach areas in the Rocky Mountains with my family and mostly for carrying fishing gear. What I got was much, much more. Its brought my family closer together, introduced me to new friends and allowed us to see spectacular sights in spectacular settings. My highlights this year were a week in Moab with my family and 4 crazy mud, snow and rain filled days with 2 kids and our muddy dog in Wyoming's Snowy Range. We got stuck in the snow, hailed on harder than I've ever seen, ran from lightening, ducked from thunder, spent an entire day in the RTT while it rained/hailed/snowed, made a campfire in the rain and generally unplugged from the world. Lifetime memories are made in such ways and my kids will NEVER forget that trip.

This is just a very small portion of what 2014 gave to me...... Adventure abounded at every turn. Campfires, hikes, fishing, cookouts, desert sunsets, mountain sunrises, friends and most importantly, family. Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Utah. All possible because I own a Land Cruiser.....

Here's to 2015!

I am not by any means an expert video editor.

I just use iMovie on my Mac. And I haven't really used it much. But it's fairly self explanatory.
But I'm sure most of you don't run Macs. I used to use a PC and I edited with Windows Movie Maker. For all intents and purposes they're the same thing, and mostly user friendly.

I would suggest just playing around with one or the other and experiment with putting things together.

Now, my brother has After Effects. And that's like a $700 or so program for professionally editing and altering video. But hardly worth the cost for this type of thing. But if you want to take it to the next level, you could look into that program. It's pretty in depth and complicated.
Also there is Final Cut Pro X which is a little cheaper. And not quite so in depth.
