Default Missouri and Illinois Gulch, FSR347 and CLC's 2018 Trail Planning Meeting

Jackson and headed out to Rainbow Falls Area / Illinois Gulch trailhead to get some trail time in before heading to CO Springs to meet with the Colorado Land Cruiser's 2018 Trail Planning Meeting.

The trail seemed to be in good shape, Jackson noted that the Mini Moab ledge obstacle was far more dug out than he remebered. We collected a few bottles here and there, but it was quite clean. The weather was fantastic and there was only a small bit of snow on the ground in the shady spots. We watched a Jeep group spend a fair chunk of time on the ledges, then exited FSR347 to 67 and on to Colorado Springs.

We met with CLC (a TLCA chapter) and discussed trail runs, large and small, and mentioned that both groups will make an effort to share calendars and events. One of us will update the forum with their calendar which will be posted to their 'Mud Clubhouse forum page. This should be a great opportunity to run some different and new trails and explore some of the less beaten-in trails of the Front Range outside Denver.

Trail Hours as reported by Jackson in the Hours Log:
Missouri and Illinois Gulch, FSR 347
2 people x 6hrs = 12hrs

Looks like a fun trail.
I was wondering how the trail conditions were down there. Been thinking about hitting up Eagle rock one of these weekends.
