Would love to make this run. Been a while. If one has an open seat, love to hop in. Not comfortable taken skelator out on a big wheeling run. In need of new tires, working on that.

Thanks for the report. Too bad about the warm weather and what it's doing to the snow. But, who knows what it will be like in several weeks.

There is very little to no snow around Blackhawk/Central City/the cemetary. And what snow is on the road by the cemetery is windswept and glazed with ice.
I made it to the left turn on 7391 with no real problems. But there was a long drift up the first little hill as you enter the trail. I hit it full bore and it was not unlike hitting a brick wall. The snow has been blown up into 2-3ft drifts one after the other after the other. They're all hard as a rock. Once the weight of the truck breaks through them, it's like trying to drive through wet concrete. After a dozen attempts I had made it up the trail about 30ft and said screw it. Too much of a PITA. I walked up the trail a ways and it just looks like one hard drift after the other.
Looking up towards the mountains it looked as though there wasn't much more snow at higher levels.
I haven't looked at the weather reports for the next couple weeks, but if they don't get any more snow between now and then (which is unlikely) it's going to make for a long day of winching and pulling. Just FYI.

Hopefully this will be the first trail run with my fancy new fuel injection bits! If my 60 is together, I'm in.

Jackson, if it's not together, you can always ride in the grocery getter!

As long as it's not threatening to snow, I'll be there.
