actually, not really even that famous, but I hear he was very popular
It's true, you can only take so much Colonel Angus! Forty five minutes? Whoa.
On the for real side, Suzie is a direct descendant of John Evans, disgraced Territorial Governor of Colorado and namesake of Mt. Evans and numerous other locations. As for my side of the family, Kentucky hillbillies are all I have going for me. Oh yeah, Robinson Risner was a first cousin of my Dad's. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Robinson_Risner His statue at the Air Force Academy is pretty darn cool and its/his genitalia are polished regularly. Really!

Magnum PI (Tom Selick) is a distant cousin through marriage.

My uncle should be famous....he was in a terrible car accident when he was 16. In a coma for nearly 9 months. Then one day miraculously wakes up and goes on to earn his PE license in every discipline. Yes, he is an electrical, civil, etc Professional Engineer. Can't remember how many PEs he has, but even one after being told he would be a vegetable if he ever woke up, is quite amazing. It's almost like the injury rewired his brain to be a genius. In his spare time he has redesigned the entire interstate highway system to better accommodate large truck travel.

Did I mention he is also a really weird dude? . Maybe that's why he is not famous

Thats Way cool!

I forgot that my 2nd cousin Amy Carlson is on Blue Bloods with Tom Selleck until you mentioned his name. She's cool. Her extremely long term boyfriend Syd started frenchkiss records.

My wife's grandfather was the mastermind behind our modern day night vision. He was detained by the Russians when the iron curtain fell to develop his technology. That's about all we got.

Im sure I have notable relatives, but have no way to prove it. I grew up in WV where there's only one gene pool. Everyone just jumps in. :-)

I have a bunch of his personal effects. That was a really interesting period in US history.

our claim to fame: my grandfather, while a chemical engineer with Dow Corning, headed up the project to develop silicone breast implants.
