Default Jenny Creek Workday August 1st 2015

Meet in Rollinsville where the turn off is for Rollins Pass rd. near the Porta John at 9:00am to head up to Jenny Creek. CB channel 4 and HAM 146.460.

Meeting Spot Saturday 9:00am:

I'll probably be heading up Friday night to find a spot to camp. I'll have 146.460 on as long as we are up so feel free to come on up and camp with us. We'll probably be staying up there Saturday night too.

Bring Plenty of water, your work gloves, some boots, some trash bags, and some basic hand tools if you have them. We will be doing trash pickup along the trail as well as any post and cable repair or trail maintenance that needs to be done. I will figure out if we need cement or any other consumables and post up or acquire them.

Let me know if you think you can make it.

Who's Coming:

Rezarf - Camp
FJCDan - Camp

Let me know as this list needs updating, I need to know who to expect so I can find decent camping and let the FS know who'll be there.

See ya'll up there!

What is the Jenny Creek trail like? We go up & camp on Rollins Pass a couple of times a year, but I've never been on Jenny creek because I heard it was pretty harsh. Can a stock Troopy, hauling an M101 CDN trailer go through there without damaging anything?

Doesn't look like I can make this one.

Abe: Jenny Creek is narrow with some sharp turns and banks, and there are some cases where traffic is coming in both directions. I think it would be tough with your long and tall troopy - not impossible, but difficult to navigate in some areas.

Yeah Abe, I agree with Matt.. I think that the troopy with trailer might be a challenge. you could come and check it out and make your own assessment though, also you could bring the troopy, camp and work and not run it on Jenny Creek.

Bummer Matt, we'll miss you!

We missed last weekend at Argentine. We were in Telluride. We will go to the Jenny Creek clean up, and most likely camp. I picked up a 1fz-fe with 70k less on it then mine last winter and replaced all the gaskets. Im starting the swap tomorrow night so my baby will be ready to roll again depending on if I can afford insurance.
