Randy's outfit is probably typical of most informed Jeepers. There are mini truck drivers who run the absolutely minimum and don't have a full size spare either, so it's a question of available funds I think. Some of the same reasons, can't fit a spare larger than 33" in the stock location, theft from the bed, etc.

Sure, shoot me an email when you want to talk. I'm still lurking on the website and I keep getting tempted to build another Toyota based buggy but the "fun money" only goes so far. Currently its all going into the race car. You guys might enjoy this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCarK4uxTQU from when I did a chassis dyno run on the race car with the new engine. It's old school Boss 302 based but stroked to 363 cubic inches. Note the estimated flywheel HP reading in the lower left hand corner.

Maybe........now they are discussing a possible 2 year assignment in the UK, managing projects in Morocco and Algeria.
