Default Moving to Denver from NC

Hi Everyone I recently was laid off due to a buyout and my wife got a transfer to Denver to be closer to her mom so we're moving. We are looking to rent and was curious if any of you have any leads on a hous that's not outrageously expensive that allows dogs and our 3 Landcruisers. Also if anybody's hiring let me know I will send you my resume.

Start researching now, rents are gonna be high and you will likely have to pay more to have dogs. Don't mean to be negative, just being pragmatic. Welcome!

Pet-friendly rentals are going for a serious premium up here in northern Colorado (around Ft. Collins, Loveland, Greeley).

Garages are going to be a hard find as well. Probably could find a decent house, dog friendly with street parking for about the same as a multi-room apartment. Denver is big so telling us what city/areas you are looking for will also help. What line of work are you aiming for?

I know of a good realtor if needed. Don't check here often so email at zipponfab@aol.com and I can give you her number. I came from VA so welcome the Humid free zone.

I would get a realtor that knows the area you are looking at.

If you really want to get out of the city you can go south to Parker road and even a bit out east

this is in Parker

this is closer in in Aurora

Both good school districts

As said a realtor will help greatly. Aurora is somewhat reasonable depending on the neighborhood, alot of it is not the best area of town though. Parker area will be higher price but nicer, more rural feel.

Dave what do you mean up north? I wish I could deal with the commute from Longmont or ft collins. Last i checked housing is way cheaper up there!

We moved out here from Charlotte about 2.5 years ago. Where are you coming from?
