Glacier Lagoon. We had the last boat ride of the day. And a passionate guide. Touristy, yes. But also pretty dang incredible. This region of Iceland just started opening up within the last 80 years.

The glacier has been receding about 150 meters a year. Used to go all the way to the ocean. But now has created the lagoon with it receding (within the last 80 years).

Ahh. Iceland is a beautiful place. And as always you find the perfect views to show what it is. What glass or lenses are you shooting with?

Thanks Cheeseman! Using a Canon 18-175. Been a good all around lense to shoot with. Especially after Jackson cleaned all the Moab dust out of it....

Awesome Perry, Allison and I went to Iceland last year and it was amazing. What route did you take while exploring out there? what places did you go?

Awesome Marco. We drove around the island via Route 1. Stopped at all the major spots. Also spent two days ( not enough) in the NW Fjords. Took a 4x4 bus ( wanted to do a Arctic Truck trip but even with a discount, still to $) into Porsmork Valley. Amazing. MyVatn was also cool. Did the Golden circle. I'd love to go back, but as a 4x4 trip.
