Default 2016 40's Only Run

Thanks Drew for leading another great event. We had two 40's that turned around about halfway because they couldn't get it into 4WD. Another turned around at the trail head due to carb issues. Yes I am loving my fuel injection

It was a fun day

Awesome!

Funny, it's usually hard to get 40's Out of 4wd!

Glad the 40's Only Run tradition lives on.

A fun run, and great weather! Thanks Drew, for leading, and Ken for gunning...

Some pics. The blurry on is going down the chutes, trying to drive, and take a picture. Fun times.

Great bunch of folks, and great fall colors. Brought my brother along at the last minute. I had the usual slate of fuel issues, and I felt like I was in a 12-step program, listening to others with carburetors. Good leading/tail gunning.

What we needed was more rear lockers and less vapor locking!

That's what the 40's Only Run is all about! And no 200 series drivers there rolling their eyes at carburetors! (except ken.)

Big props to Ken for gunning and getting the group back on track!

Also, thanks to Keith and Lindsay for having a spare HAM HT since I forgot my charger!

I'll get pics up soon!

Must be so nice, Ken! I remember at least 3 40's Only Runs/ Pre-runs where I had carb vapor lock!

Thanks to all you guys for making it happen again. I'll get out there again someday for another!

Wish I could have made it, looks like fun. And I've never had vapor lock issues with my carb, so
