If you really want a deal on amsteel then do a group buy and order up a whole spool! Its super easy to back braid with a fid.

Have an RFQ into denver rope for dyneema sk75. That's what amsteel blue is made from evidently. I'll gather more info and post up. Denver rope guy said it's the same stuff onlybmuch less expensive because it doesn't go through Sampson, it comes straight from dyneema.

Yup. Two things.

This really was a great weekend of learning. It fleshed out many of the general methods and understandings we use currently for our wheeling. We are working on how best to give this information to the club. It will be great.

Second. The winch rope info does need its own thread. Now that those of us have been waiting to make the switch. Bill convinced us. What are we waiting for.
