The hj61 has two different kill switches in it. I’ve always assumed it must have gone to Africa, having been in Spain originally. One kills everything & would be easy to find if you were looking. The other only kills the ignition (if already running it keeps going) & I think would be impossible to spot if you were in a rush to steal. I can’t explain how they work, but if anyone wants to see them & figure it out, I’d be happy to let you guys explore them.

What would potentially prevent this
Do people use the club or a steering wheel device
Sorry to hijack this thread but as we all know these are pretty easy to get into

... best bet is a hidden kill switch that locks out ignition or fuel where possible.

Thank you all for the concern. We can only hope it returns but I'm certain this thing was targeted. These things aren't always the easiest to start when cold (at least mine isn't without the choke) and who knows where reverse is without the shift pattern on the knob. This a$$ knew what he was doing. I really wanted to post here to warn others.

Thanks again guys!

I've had my truck broken into twice in the past year. The first time they broke my window and stole my backpack. The second time happened at my house. I had been gone for a long weekend and when I got home I noticed that my truck was moved back about six feet back from where I normally park in my driveway. I distinctly remember locking my truck before leaving but when I got home it was unlocked. Also, when I opened the door the annoying buzzer started going off like something was stuck in the ignition. I guess they must of gotten spooked before they could steal it and left it.
