What antenna are you running, Tim? Mine is a super-flexy whip, so I never worry about hitting trees.

That thing looked tweaked - I kept a close eye on mine but for some reason it faired fine (not sure I can the same for my paint )

On my 70 my antenna is on the arb. Seems to work well enough that i've never had a problem.

The HT on 5w didn't seem to reach out all that far so the wife asked why i didn't buy one for her cruiser. She liked Nathaniel's commentary of the run. I'll probably do a fender mount/hood mount if I don't get a bar on the 80.
