Default FOR SALE: 1970 Chevota FJ40 - best offer

I haven't had time for this for years, and just accepted an out-of-state
position which they'd like me to start arround May 1, 2006. I'd like this
out of my garage soon so that I can stash things there to make room for
contractors inside.

Interested parties can send e-mail to drew@poohsticks.org

1970 FJ40
Hard top
Baby blue

350 Chevy 4-bolt (cast crank)
Felpro gasket set
World S/R torquer heads with CNC bowl blend
Manley stainless steel valves
ARP head bolts
ARP rocker arm studs
ARP small head header-bolts
Crane Kool nuts
1.6:1 roller-tip rockers
Comp Cams XE262 cam
Edelbrock performer intake
Quadrajet carb
Stewart high-flow water pump
Robert Shaw high-flow thermostat
HEI distributor
Block hugger headers
New fuel pump

Saginaw power steering conversion

Howe aluminum radiator
Stant racing cap

Red top Optima

Cast iron bellhousing
Includes sheet-metal covers
Advance clutch slave mount

14" flywheel (resurfaced)
New 11" clutch

SM465

Advance Adapter

3-speed transfer case
Rebuilt parking brake
New parking brake cable

Pro-mac twin-stick shifter

Front disk brakes
Knuckles out grafted on from a 1979 FJ40
Warn freewheel hubs

Rear disk brakes
TSM GM kit (Monte Carlo calipers)

Wilwood proportioning valve
1975 1" brake master cylinder
1978 FJ40 booster + proportioning valve
Danny Warden adapter

Autometer mechanical temperature and oil pressure gauges

Problems:
It seems to have developed an electrical short when I last tried to start
it a few weeks ago : the ammeter pegs out as soon as the key is switched
to the on position. The same thing happens when all of the fuses are
yanked.

The power steering box needs to be rebuilt.

The carb probably needs to be rebuilt. If nothing else, it's completely
out of adjustment.

I never got arround to having a front drive shaft made after installing
the SM465.

Driver's seat needs to be re-upholstered

I'd want to install a new fuse block.

There is rust in the rear channel, quarter panels where they meet the
channel, and front of the quarter pannels.

There are a few holes in the floor to clear shifter linkages. Some one
should tack sheet metal over these.

The bed inside needs to be painted.

Best offer.
