Default Snowrun - headgasket report

Purchased at the rally, zero compression on 4 and 5.

Here is what we found.

According to the PO, the engine had a new headgasket installed and it lasted a week. The gasket appeared to be covered in permatex and the head bolts must have been torqued to 200ft pounds. We are going to buy new head bolts, already have a new OEM (new design) headgasket, and will check the head and block for warpage. The third pic is a broken slipper.

So the gasket has a bit of a weak spot showing but what's wrong with the timing chain guide?

I see more than a bit of a weak spot...Looks like 1/2 of the cross section is missing - of course the cross section above that does appear to have a weak spot

Hopefully we will have the cylinder head back on tonight. I have no way of checking if the cylinder block is warped or uneven so I am crossing my fingers. Hopefully we will have the rig running by this weekend.
