I like that one a lot too, but did not want to come off as a Ford lover.

This car is the first and only BADASS car in my book. 0to 100 mph and back to 0 in less than 10 seconds. With the technology back then and they have only beat it with one or two other vehicles since then. If I could ever afford a $.5 million car I would try to find the Shelby Cobra that carol Shelby gave to Bill Cosby. That one is worth more than a half mill.

call me crazy Pure raw horsepower, yeah baby

Wes, Ive got to go with either of these. The Koenigsegg CCGT or the Ferrari FXX and AC Shelby Cobra 427 for a classic.

- maybe im just too practical, but the Aerial Atom suits my bill just fine
- realistically available under 100k, titled as either a Chevy cobalt or a Honda Civic, (cheap insurance)
- parts available at any checker or Auto Zone, in stock
- better power to weight ratio than a veyron
- better handling than... anything pictured above...
- sub 3 second 0-60 time in a mass produced commercial 4 banger
- Turbo or Supercharged versions available
- if you really want to spend $160k or more, a 500hp V8 version is available weighing in at 1200# wet... that shames the veryron, zonda, koniggalphabet, etc etc etc.

another one many may not have heard of is the Iceni Trident..

a European super car powered by a GM 6.6litre Duramax Diesel.."only" making 550hp and 950# of torque, this thing runs sub 4 second 0-60 times and is regulated at 200mph... runs on bio diesel, and can get 70mpg (according to the manufacturer)

Quote:
*68.9mph at a constant 70mph was the first recorded test at Millbrook Proving Ground. The figure naturally improve at lower speeds at 30mph, Trident's initial tests returned 108mpg. This is yet to be confirmed but they don't believe in quoting a figure for 30mph as this is unrealistic unless you drive exclusively in a city.

The Iceni is a traditional grand tourer. With a full tank of diesel, you can expect to travel around 2000 miles without needing to fill up.

The boot has space for luggage and golf clubs enough for a two week holiday.

The chassis is made from stainless steel and is guaranteed against corrosion for 100 years and the body is made from composite and can therefore never rust or degrade.
