Default Is Google unveiling an 'iPhone killer?'

Does anyone know any more about this? Or maybe our rich Uncle knows. Says it's better than a Droid

Cool phone but not $500 worth to me. Verizon always seems to be slower and behind the times, sort of like Toyota. Toyota can pull so much more HP out of their vehicles but they build strong and to last.

Would be good if they make it an unlocked phone, work will pay my bill but only if I use Verizon.

Sounds interesting. I bought the Droid a week ago and am loving it. I wonder how they can improve it.

I've been more intrigued with the Droid since you mentioned you bought one. Somewhere (and I can't find it at the moment) I saw an article about the Best Inventions of 2009, and they listed the Droid car mount and multi media home docking station. I did just find a forum that discusses the accessories.

I'm with Tim, the iphone is awesome and very user friendly. The droid is bulkier and it's operating system is rubbish. I have had verizon for nearly 5 years now and have had REALLY good service and am pleased with everything except for the crappy selection of phones. AT&T's contract with apple is out as of this year and there has been a lot of talk of Verizon getting the iphone.

We'll see.

I would have an iphone, but I abhor at&t. I have been waiting for this phone, and might pick one up.

I am with this statement all the way! AT&T has been a deal breaker for me and an Iphone. Rather stretch a string between 2 soup cans!

The car mount is killer -- it turns the phone into a full GPS unit with voice navigation. I didn't buy the multi media dock, but I will have to read up to see if I should.

Another cool app is the bar code scanner (using the camera). Here's how it works: You're in Best Buy and you see a Blu-Ray player that you want to buy. You think, "I wonder if the price is good." You whip out your phone, scan the bar code, and instantly do an Internet search to compare prices.
