Talking Things you won't see at Cruise Moab (humor) (maybe nsfw)

It is unlikely that you will see this in Moab:

You might not see ME.

My son's graduation is during CM07. We decided, since it was perfunctory and not that big a deal (2-year degree, he's done well, but it would be an extra trip to lovely thriving downtown Farmington) that we would skip it in favor of CM.

Except...

He is in the running for valedictorian. Little stinker graduated near the bottom in high school. (In fact, technically, he has not YET graduated from HS...).

Graduation is 5/4-5. Looks like some plan adjustments *might* be in order, not sure yet.

After missing last year due to a job change, I'm not sure whether to cheer or cry. Prolly both.

Well, we can do our own CM I guess. Or go on some pre-runs.

Anybody prerunning Elephant Hill? I had been looking forward to that one with the fam.

well, that's a bummer. I was looking forward to sharing a smoke with ya, and listening to your charming bride "eek" half the time, and walk the other half!

Seriously though, Justin is only doing this once, and it is FARMINGTON! I can turn you on to some FUN trails...Moab will always be there... I hope.

Not a done deal. I may yet be there with my lovely eeker. They don't do much RE: valedictorian, it turns out.

That is Little Arch on the Poison Spider Trail. I have seen mountain bikers do that too! Beyond stupid!

Boy it gets you real nervous when you're a trail leader and you see little kids head for that arch on the Poison Spyder run.
