Default Straaaaaange... but appealing somehow

Not going to run out and get one, but geez... never heard of Confederate Motors.

160 HP sparse V-twin.

They need a contract with Mel Gibson to complete the image.

I always thought the Confederate Wraith was pretty interesting too:

That one just weirded me out too much...

I like angles better than curves. Except on some people.

I don't get it- does your knee go in front of the air intake? Or outside it? That front fork reminds me of an old Amp fork..

Beside it. Take a look at the pix on the site. The dang thing is skinny as a rail. You wouldn't think so looking at the side.

Seating position looks awkward at best though. I like the pegs below the butt or a bit behind. Saves the tailbone. It would be a rush to ride it in 'Urban Assault Vehicle' mode though.

Isn't that a Buell? Looks just like one with the plastic removed!

Makes about 58 more horsepower and an ungawdly amount more torque. 1500ccs or some such. Not that anyone I know could afford even the down payment...

I do get amused about how some 3.0L aficionados brag about having 150HP, vs. the 22RE's paltry 102 or 112 depending. This bike makes 10HP more. Probably doesn't blow headgaskets either.

That's a pretty cool-looking bike from a design perspective. How much does it cost?
