Default Sienna transmission work?

Our AWD 2007 Sienna, 120k miles is having transmission issues. It is throwing a PO793 code and driving really sporadically. I changed the fluid and the two transmission speed sensors related to the code no luck. Anyway, at this point it's beyond what I have time to deal with. Any advise on independent shops around Arvada to take it? Anyone in the club know this stuff looking for some side work? Let me know!

thanks Mike, never heard of them, but a quick search shows they are rising sun supporters, I'll give them a call in the morning.

Daughters Rav4 was having tranny problems. Dealer wanted to replace ECU and then tranny if ECU didn't correct to problem, $6000. It shifted very poorly, high rpm to next gear, low rpm, really rough, 119kmiles. Turns out the ECU, made by Fujitsu, burns out a couple diodes and tells tranny to run in multiple gears at same time destroying the tranny. Found Magnum Performance in Mo, sent the ECU, sent it back the next day. Runs perfectly $89for diode replacement. Spoke with Mike.

Oh man Cleaver, that's tempting to try, I may do that. That's a 15 minute fix. What you describe sounds really similar to how the van is driving. I may see if someone has the same ECU around that I could swap to test that theory. Although, in all my research so far I haven't heard of that happening with my year model, but then again most Sienna owners aren't googling ETC codes.
