I do intend to get the passenger to drivers aux tank but money is tight right now. The route goes from Denver to Vegas first week in march then to Mt. Whitney, Mt. Shasta, Mt. Rainier and then I'm taking a ferry from seattle to Whittier. The ferry is way more cost effective than driving the Alcan.

Especially in a 40!...WHEW! That's a relief! Glad to hear you're not attempting that in the winter. I'd never even get an opportunity to meet you in person Now, let's have a , well maybe to celebrate a safe journey!

I was getting that feeling. Well, I do feel much better knowing that he's taking the ferry over the most difficult and dangerous part! I'm also a little envious of some getting to go to AK.

AK is fun when your not in college. It still is going to be an interesting trip. So passed emissions today on the second try. First time around it wouldn't start. I was getting gas and spark so I called a friend after 20-25 minutes of fiddling. after I hung up I tried once more and it started. Took it to Chatfield High School to work on it and it ran fine. turned it off to go talk to the teacher and wouldn't start again. Our two thoughts were vapor lock or my carb is flooding the engine when off. Started it and took it back to emissions and it worked fine. We surmised that the carb is flooding because to start the gas pedal must be floored. So I added a carb rebuild to my looooooong list of things to fix replace in the next month and a half.
