Wolf Creek well worth the drive from this metro area-just do a stop at Monarch in between to pace yourself....

Steve, i completely understand. I have been in the high country since 1973, and i still really do love it, but this particular storm is kicking my @ss. The snow from yesterday is very wet, and it is snowing about an inch an hour right now.
About twice a winter i have to snow blow the inside of my yard around the perimeter to keep the dogs in, and this snow is so heavy i can't even do it. I have a 4' fence and the snow is even or above it right now !
I'm glad we own Land Cruisers.

I didn't take any pictures yesterday as I was too busy running the snow thrower. But here is one Marianne took from the porch. The snow bank along the side of the house is what is blocking the view of the garage. Avalanches off the roof have piled up about 7' deep along the house.

I might get a chance to go to echo with a 30inch base (I hope), but at least i Haven't shoveled any snow in a while
